Commercial cultivation of Gerbera in polyhouse जरबैरा, जरबैरा जेम्सोनाई (gerbera), जिसे ऐस्टेरेसी कुल के अन्तर्गत श्रेणीबध्द किया गया है, दक्षिणी अफ्रिकी मूल का पौधा है। इसलिए जरबैरा को ''अफ्रिकन डेजी'' के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। यह बहुवर्षीय कर्तित पुष्प वाला पौधा है एवं कर्तित पुष्पों में इसका महत्वपूर्ण स्थान है। जरबैरा की खेती बिना पालीहाऊस के भी की जा सकती है परन्तु खुले स्थान में जरबैरा लगाने पर पौधो की अच्छी वृध्दि नहीं हो पाती जिसके परिणामस्वरूप फूलों की गुणवत्ता भी अच्छी नहीं होती और बाजार में अच्छा मूल्य नहीं मिल पाता। अत: अच्छी गुणवत्ता के फूल लेने के लिए जरबैरा को पालीहाऊस/ ग्रीनहाऊस मे ही उगाएं। पालीहाऊस एक विशिष्ट आकार...
