Integrated pest management (IPM) through mechanical methods 1.फेरोमोन ट्रैप बार बार रासायनिक कीटनाशको के प्रयोग के उपरांत भी कपास,मूंगफली,धान,दलहनी फसलो,तम्बाकु,सब्जियों,एवं फल वाले पौधे के बिभिन्न कीटो  का सफलतापूर्वक नियंत्रण नहीं हो पा रहा है| आधुनिक पद्धति यह है कि किसी नाशीजीव का नियंत्रण करने के लिए कम से कम रासायनिक छिडकाव , जैविक नियंत्रण के साधनों जैसे फेरोमोन ट्रैप (गंधपांस) आदि का समेकित उपयोग किया जाय , जिसे एकीकृत नाशीजीव प्रबंधन कहते है| इस पद्धति में गंधपांश एवं गंध (लूर) का कीट की स्थिति का आकलन करने एवं नर पतिंगो को पकड़ कर नष्ट करने में अपना उल्लेखनीय योगदान है| फेरोमोन (गंध) क्या है ? यह एक प्रकार का ऑर्गेनिक पदार्थ है ,जो किसी मादा पतिंगा...
