कट फ्लावर की कटाई के बाद देखभाल या हैंडलिंग कैसे करें।  In agriculture, post harvest handling is the stage of crop production immediately following harvest, including cooling, cleaning, sorting and packing. Post-harvest treatment largely determines final quality, whether a crop is sold for fresh consumption, or used as an ingredient in a processed food product. The most important goals of post-harvest handling are to keep the product cool, to avoid moisture loss and slow down undesirable chemical changes, and avoiding physical damage such as bruising. Initial post-harvest storage conditions are critical to maintain quality. Each crop has an optimum range for storage temperature and humidity. Also, certain crops cannot be effectively stored together, as unwanted chemical interactions can result. Various methods of high-speed cooling, and sophisticated refrigerated and atmosphere-controlled environments, are employed to prolong freshness, particularly in large-scale operations.  Vase Life of cut flowers:   A fresh flower is still a living specimen even though it has been cut from the plant. The vase life of cut flowers decline due to the following reasons. Inability of stems to absorb water due to blockage Excessive water loss from the cut flower A short supply of carbohydrate to support respiration Diseases Ethylene gas Room temperature and humidity Preservatives are used to extend the vase life of cut flowers. Floral preservatives are very effective in maintaining quality...

बागवानी में पॉलीएब्रीयोनी या बहुभ्रूणता और इसकाा महत्व में  Polyembryony is the occurrence of more than one embryo in a seed which consequently results in the emergence of multiple seedlings. The additional embryos result from the differentiation and development of various maternal and zygotic tissues associated with the ovule of seed. Earlier, polyembryony is said to have an abnormal feature but now it is considered as a desirable character in citrus, mango, jamun, rose apple, almond, etc. to obtain true to type planting material. In the usual process of plant reproduction, egg cell (female) of ovule fertilizes with the male gamete which in turn culminates in embryo (zygotic). On the other hand, in some of the crops, somatic cells of ovule (usually nucellus) start producing embryo without fertilization results in the occurrence of more than one embryo in the seed (polyembryony). The formation of embryo without sexual process is called apomixis (Apo=away from+ mixis = act of mixing) and seed is called apomictic seed, whereas the condition is called polyembryony. In most of the cases, sexual embryo and nucellar embryo developes simultaneously which is known as facultative polyembryony. Polyembryony was first reported by Leeuwenhoek in citrus as early as 1719 and the different cases of polyembryony in plants were studied by Braun in 1859. In 1878 Strasburger demonstrated...

गुलाब उगाने की उन्‍नत तकनीक   The roses grow best in place where they get full sun at least for 5 hours in a day. Flowering season of rose is November to April. Rose plants start flowering after eight weeks of planting during the fowering season. Beds should be 60-90 cm deep. Fill pit with a mixture of soil and farm yard manure. Flood the bed with water to settle down the loose soil. Add more mixture of soil and manure for leveling the bed. Planting: Planting can be done from August to March but most prefered time of planting is September to October. Planting should be done immediatly when the new plants arrive from the nursery. If due to some reason or other, it is not possible to plant immediatly then do not unpack the plants and keep them in cool place and sprinkle a little water over the plants, specially on the roots.
