मूंगबीन में पीला मोज़ेक रोग: एक प्रमुख संकट। Mungbean belonging to family Fabaceae also called as greengram is one of the most important pulse crop grown and consumed in India. Providing one of the sources of protein for vegetarians. In India this crops is widely growing in the area of Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh and Haryana during kharif and rabi season (Singh et al 2014a). Now a day this crop is tormenting a harsh abatement in the production due to astringent on rush of viral diseases. Among various viral diseases, Yellow Mosaic Disease (YMD) caused by different species of white-fly such as Bemisia tabaci transmitted geminivirus belonging to genus begomovirus is one of the most pestiferous disease in mungbean. YMD was first reported in moongbean in India by Nariani, 1960. Main pathogens causing YMD in mungbean in India are MYMV and MYMIV. In lower Gangetic alluvial region, higher incidence of disease has been observed during summer due to favorable condition for multiplication of the vector Bemisia tabaci. Host species and susceptibility of each plant affect the development of disease symptoms after virus infection (Singh et al 2014b). Important diseases of Moong bean and their management  1. अल्टरनेरिया पर्ण धब्बा रोग मूंग के प्रमुख रोग  :- लक्षण एवं पहचान- पत्ती की सतह पर भूरे रंग के धब्बे दिखाइ देते है। प्रारंभिक अवस्था में ये धब्बे गोल एवं छोटे भूरे रंग के होते है। बाद में ये छल्ले के रुप में गहरे भूरे रंग का आकार ले लेते है। संक्रमित भाग पत्ती से अलग होकर गिर जाता है। रोगजनक के बीजाणु (कोनिडिया) रोगजनित पौधो के अवशेष एवं ठुण्ठ पर तथा आश्रित खरपतवारों पर जीवित रहते है। इनकी बढ़वार के लिये 70 प्रतिशत आपेक्षिक आद्रता एवं 12 से 25 डिग्री तापमान उपयुक्त होता है। नियंत्रण :- खेतों को साफ-सुथरा रखे। थायरम 2.5 ग्राम प्रति किलो बीज के हिसाब से बीजोपचार करें। फसलों में जिनेब 2 ग्राम प्रति लीटर के हिसाब से छिड़काव करें।  2. अनथ्रक्नोज (श्याम वर्ण रोग) :- यह रोग बीज पत्र तथा तना पत्ती एवं फलियों पर होता है। संक्रमित भाग पर अनियमित आकार के भूरे धब्बे लालिमा लिये हुये दिखाइ देते है जो कुछ समय बाद गहरे रंग के हो जाते है। नियंत्रण :- संक्रमित पौधों को नष्ट कर देना चाहिये। बीजों को बोने से पूर्व केप्टान अथवा थायरम (2.5 ग्राम) वाविसिटीन या कवच     (1.5 ग्राम) प्रति किलो बीज दर से उपचारित कर बोएं। फसल चक्र अपनाये। स्वस्थ बीज का उपयोग करें।  3. जीवाणु पत्ती धब्बा रोग :- पत्ती की सतह पर बहुत...
